The specific level of electrical current that will produce the greatest heat absorption by the cold side of a thermoelectric cooler. At the optimum current, a thermoelectric cooler will be capable of pumping the maximum quantity of heat; maximum temperature differential (Delta Tmax) typically occurs at a somewhat lower current level.
